Discount code heaven… here’s five of this week’s finest

amazon logoSeveral years since they first took online shoppers by storm, discount codes are still one of the best ways to save money on… well, you name it! More or less everything. It’s be fascinating to tot up how much our readers have saved over the years we’ve been running this site. I bet it’s pretty damn impressive.

It’s about time I featured some of our most popular codes. Here are five of the best for this week, in no particular order, all great ways to save considerable wedges of dosh in troubled economic times when every penny counts.

  1. Our fab Amazon discount code – low cost entertainment on tap at Amazon with boxed sets for just a tenner until April 30th
  2. Save up to 80% on men’s suits in Austin Reed‘s crazily generous clearance sale, ideal if there’s a spring wedding on the horizon and your suit looks like it’s been buried by your dog, dug up again and dragged around the garden. Or it’s so out-of-style it makes you look ever so slightly odd. Hurry, this cool code is only  valid until midnight tomorrow, 26th April
  3. Travel to Berlin from £49 each… a bargain of a discount code from our friends at eDreams. We visited the city for a friend’s 50th birthday party last year and I’ve been raving about it ever since. What a great place, with its astonishing history, remarkable architecture and stunning gardens. I’d love to go back and £49 is seriously cheap – offer valid until the end of the day on Saturday 27th April
  4. Ooh, new shoes! Office is home to some of the most gorgeous footwear in Britain, a treat for anyone who revels in that unbeatable new shoes feeling and can’t resist a bargain. Get free delivery on spring footwear ’til 29th April… fill your boots. There’s also an Office discount code for our student readers, with 10% off whatever you’re studying, wherever you’re studying it
  5.  There’s as much as 50% off a choice of specially chosen bikes at Halfords too, perfect if your new year resolution included getting fit and a wonderful way to travel around towns, cities and the great British countryside. If you haven’t boarded a bicycle for years you’ll be pleased to know there’s a myriad of new cycle paths spider-webbing the entire country, making cycling safer and more fun than ever.
